OUR VALUES at Cleora Community Church

At Cleora Community Church, we believe it is of utmost importance that the values the church leadership conveys to the congregation and our community must be properly aligned and driven by scripture.  Below, you will find a listing of what we consider our core values as a church and the scriptures that support each value.

Welcome to Cleora Community Church

15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: “Be holy because I am holy.”

2 Thessalonians 2:15 15 So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.

Sharing our Resources

32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.

13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

Hebrews 13:16

16 And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

Strengthening by Organization

1 Corinthians 14:26

26 What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. All of these must be done for the strengthening of the church.

33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace.

Sending to Missions

Acts 13:2,3

2 While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”  3 So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.

Romans 10:14-15

14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
